Metropolis of Spain and Portugal prays for repose of Princess Irene of Greece and Denmark

The Holy Metropolis of Spain and Portugal referred with words of emotion and prayer to the passing of Princess Irene of Greece and Denmark, through a message published on social media.

In its statement, the Metropolis noted:

“The Holy Metropolis of Spain and Portugal prays for the repose of the soul of Her Royal Highness Princess Irene of Greece and Denmark, a faithful Orthodox Christian, who was a person of love, charity, and selfless offering.”

The message concluded with the traditional prayerful wish:
