BBC has released the first images from its award winning comedy, Dinosaur.
The Two Brothers production for BBC Scotland follows Nina (Ashley Storrie), an autistic woman in her 30s, 8 months after the first series ended. It begins wither knee-deep in mud on an Isle of Wight dig site, living her “palaeontology dream.”
In reality, it’s not quite so perfect as she’s missing Glasgow, her family and her home comforts. But when she finally returns to Scotland, she finds that everything has changed. Her workplace has moved, there’s some big family news, plus she’s thrown into an “awkward feelings triangle.”
The 6 part series is created by Matilda Curtis and Ashley Storrie and comes from The Tourist and Fleabag production company, Two Brothers Pictures. It’s been made for Hulu (US) and BBC Scotland, BBC iPlayer and BBC Three (UK) in association with All3Media International, which will handle global distribution for the series.
