The holistic counsellor and marriage celebrant wowed the world with her voice of reason, compassion and mediations kills whilst starring on season 11 of the reality show.
After gaining a loyal and international army of fans, Lucia sold out UK and Irish theatres with her live show An Evening with Lucinda Light and now she continues her journey with her first book.
Shine Your Light is a interactive journal that guides readers towards enriching, more meaningful relationships, starting the one we have with ourselves.
Speaking about her latest project, Lucinda said: “It’s such a deep honour really and truly. Coming off a reality show like Married at First Sight, I just feel very touched that people felt I had something worthy to say and interested in my story.

“I feel like the book is a beautiful companion and the feedback so far has been great. It’s only been out for a couple of days and it needed to go into a reprint of the second day, which is amazing and a good sign.
“I think the last two months were stressful trying to get it over the line timing wise. I did all the illustrations myself and put a lot of pressure on myself to get it right.
“It’s a little bit of an autobiography as I use a lot of my own stories and there’s lots of reveals about who I am and things I’ve learned along the way.
“I’ve had the most incredible just over year since Married at First Sight I feel extremely grateful and have so much more to share.”

Lucinda was paired with Timothy Smith by the MAFS experts for the experiment but things didn’t work out for the pair and she’s still on the look out for the one.
She explained: “I am still looking for love. To be completely honest, I haven’t had time to date.. I need to free up some time for that.
“There’s a couple of nice guys in my field but I haven’t had time to invest to much energy there.”
