Tom Morello’s guitar playing has had an immeasurable impact on music since Rage Against The Machine first hit our airwaves in the early ’90s. With Rage’s music still as relevant as ever, and Morello having released several more albums since their trio of records, now is as good a time as ever to catch him live.
Taking to the Electric Brixton on Monday, June 15 this year, Tom Morello is playing a standalone, full band show in the capital the day after his appearance at Download Festival in Donington Park.

Tom Morello’s last solo show in the city came in 2024 when he headlined Camden’s Electric Ballroom, which also centered around his performance at Download Festival the same year. Prior to this, his last appearance in the capital came when supporting Muse on their stadium tour of the UK in 2019.
Rage Against The Machine were booked to perform at Reading and Leeds festival in 2022, but were sadly forced to cancel due to frontman Zack de la Rocha sustaining an injury to his Achilles tendon at another show.
Morello has also played in several other projects aside from Rage and his solo work, most notably with Audioslave alongside the late Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell, as well as Prophets Of Rage with fellow Rage band members, as well as Chuck D & DJ Lord from Public Enemy, and B-Real from Cypress Hill. He often draws from his entire career in his live sets, so you may well be able to expect to hear numbers from his former bands as well as his more recent solo material.
