Aston Villa boss Unai Emery has named his starting XI to face Fenerbahce in the Europa League this evening.

He has made five changes from the team that lost 1-0 to Everton last Sunday, while Emi Martinez, Boubacar Kamara, Ross Barkley and John McGinn are injured.

Marco Bizot starts in goal, behind a defence of Matty Cash, Victor Lindelof, Tyrone Mings and Lucas Digne.

Lamare Bogarde partners Youri Tielemans in the double pivot, with Jadon Sancho, Emi Buendia and Morgan Rogers providing support for striker Ollie Watkins.

Villa face Fenerbahce in search of their sixth league-phase victory this season, having beaten Bologna, Feyenoord, Maccabi Tel Aviv, Young Boys and Basel, but losing to Go Ahead Eagles.

The Turkish side, meanwhile, have won three of their matches, drawing two and losing the other.

Fenerbahce have only lost once at home this season, against Besiktas last month.

This match marks Emery’s 100th game in the Europa League, making him the first manager to reach that milestone. The next closest manager is Jorge Jesus with 68 matches in the competition.

Villa starting XI: Bizot, Cash, Lindelof, Mings, Digne, Bogarde, Tielemans, Sancho, Rogers, Buendia, Watkins.

Subs: Proctor, Wright, Konsa, Torres, Garcia, Hemmings, Onana, Guessand, Maatsen, Jimoh-Aloba, Young.

Fenerbahce starting XI: Ederson, Semedo, Skriniar, Oosterwolde, Muldur, Ismael, Fred, Asensio, Nene, Akturkoglu, Duran.

Subs: Cetin, Biterge, Soyuncu, Alvarez, Demir, Aydin, Talisca, Karatas.
