The Racing Post’s tipster likes the look of Richardson in the last.

12:47 El Jefe (NAP)
Kenzoko was second over C&D on his handicap debut on New Year’s Eve and is the one who still has potential but preference is for well-handicapped class-dropper EL JEFE (nap), who recovered from a mid-race jumping error before keeping on strongly for second at Haydock just before Christmas. Lexie’s Moon also ran well in defeat on her latest outing and is another to consider.
13:22 Roses All The Way
If ROSES ALL THE WAY can deliver her good bumper form over hurdles then she’d be up to winning a race like this, which is easier than last time. Tales Of Bravery could be the danger after running respectably here last month, while Up To Trix and Halftheworldaway should also be involved in the finish.
13:57 Jaipaletemps
Sunnyvilla went down fighting when a clear second at Haydock five weeks ago and will be tough to beat if allowed to dominate from the front here but thriving 7yo JAIPALETEMPS continues to make good progress and is selected to extend his winning spree. Cabhfuilfungi is much better than he showed behind Sunnyvilla last month and can also feature.
14:32 My Noble Lord
None of these are entirely convincing. MY NOBLE LORD has the cheekpieces back on and he should go close if seeing out the trip. Abbeydale got back on track to some extent last time and he’s second choice ahead of chasing debutant Cahier’s Den.
15:06 Warriors Destiny
Although WARRIORS DESTINY was well held when third in a Warwick maiden last time, that form is working out positively and he’s taken to make a successful handicap debut. Orderoftheday, Locquirec and In The Age are fellow newcomers to the handicap scene who should be in the thick of it, while Gege Ville isn’t your typical 10yo and he’s run well in all his handicaps.
15:41 Paper Mill
Mount Gay Run is interesting back over fences as he wasn’t beaten too far off this mark when strong in the market for an Ascot handicap hurdle last time. However, the form of PAPER MILL’s win here two months ago looks very solid. Kadjar Des Mottes might well approve of this thorough stamina test and he’s in the mix, along with two or three others.
16:18 Richardson
Several of these could be unexposed, which cannot be said about the veteran RICHARDSON, but Belinda Clarke’s 11yo goes so well on soft ground that he gets the vote all the same. Fellow C&D winner Tarbuck is back to the same mark as for his sole success and could return to form. Eton Mes, Thorgath and Walkinthepresent haven’t achieved a great deal over hurdles but could take off now tackling a handicap.
