Delray Beach aims to retain title as USA Today’s best beach in Florida

DELRAY BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — Delray Beach is up for USA Today’s best beach in Florida, and the coastal city is ready to defend its #1 title.

After claiming the #1 spot in 2024, Delray Beach is back on the ballot for 2025, being selected by a panel of travel experts.

The Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority (DDA) and Greater Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce are calling on community members to help Delray Beach maintain its spot on the throne.

In addition to its recognition by USA Today, Delray Beach has also received the Blue Flag for three years in a row, making the beach one of three beaches nationwide to receive the designation.
