Leeds United star Anton Stach has often used Instagram as a means to have fun, and he’s up to it again in the comments of one of Borussia Dortmund’s best players.

The January transfer window is some distance through already and Leeds still have one, maybe two priorities left to address.

A striker could be a brilliant addition. I’m looking at you, Jorgen Strand Larsen. Beyond that, a left-footed defender could help us ease the worry on Gabriel Gudmundsson and co.

Anton Stach makes ambitious Instagram plea for Borussia Dortmund star Nico Schlotterbeck to “come to Leeds”

If you haven’t been watching Anton Stach’s Instagram since his move to Leeds, you need to. The German midfielder has used his platform to have a lot of fun during his career so far, and continues to do so.

As he hopes to be back in contention against Everton, Stach has been active again on social media. This time, instead of a wacky matchday edit, he’s been pleading for a fellow German international to join the Whites.

Borussia Dortmund star Nico Schlotterbeck posted on Instagram after his goal helped them win 3-0 away at Union Berlin.

The 26-year-old centre-back was then greeted with a comment by Stach, reading “come to Leeds”.

Not present on the desktop screenshot I’ve used, there’s also a ‘liked by author’ tag on Stach’s comment on the mobile version. Schlotterbeck either sees the humour in it, or sees Leeds’ need for a left-sided defender to add depth in our relegation scrap.

But, before anyone gets hasty: Schlotterbeck to Leeds obviously won’t happen.

Schlotterbeck is regarded as one of the best centre-backs in Europe right now, surely destined for a move to one of the giants, as he continues to shine at Dortmund in the Bundesliga.

If he fancied Elland Road for whatever reason, though, he’d be more than welcome.
