BTS threw their loyal fanbase into chaos over the weekend as tickets for their freshly announced tour went on sale. The ticketing mayhem kicked off immediately for the UK tour dates.
This July, the K-pop superstars will perform at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on two back-to-back nights. Understandably, the initial announcement generated tremendous excitement among British fans and the actual ticket release proved chaotic.
Despite over 125,000 tickets being made available, upwards of 250,000 people were seen queuing on Ticketmaster. Consequently, countless fans walked away disappointed.
Considering their original announcement received millions of engagements on social media, the rush was not a huge surprise. That said, there is still a new chance for fans to get their hands on tickets and we have everything you need to know.
Viagogo and resale tickets
Sites such as viagogo, Stubhub, and Vivid Seats allow fans to buy resale tickets from other fans. However, it is important to note that ticket conditions often prohibit resale after initial purchase. Those tickets may not be valid for admittance to gigs.
Fans intending to buy tickets for live events through resale websites should check the ticket terms and conditions, to confirm whether resale is prohibited, before they buy. Ticket terms and conditions can be checked with the original seller, such as Ticketmaster or Live Nation. If resale is prohibited, tickets bought second-hand could be voided and admission to the event refused.
