The cast and crew of Brookside got together for a special reunion party onboard a refurbished ferry boat – and paid tribute to fellow stars who have been lost.

The Liverpool-based soap, conceived by Sir Phil Redmond, ran from 1982 to 2003 and focused on the lives of the residents of Brookside Close.

In October last year, some of the stars stepped back in front of the camera for a special crossover episode with Hollyoaks – also created by Redmond – as part of the latter’s 30th anniversary.

On Saturday former Brookside star Ray Quinn, who played Anthony Murray between 2000 and 2003, shared snaps from onboard the Daffodil – a ferry boat repurposed as a bar and restaurant and owned by fellow Brookie alumni Philip Olivier.
