Police are looking to speak to a man after a teenage girl was inappropriately touched in Liverpool city centre last month. Merseyside Police said the incident reportedly happened on Mathew Street on December 19. The girl was unharmed but “distressed” by what happened, police said.
An investigation is ongoing. Police have released an image of a man who they believe may have information about what happened. Detective Inspector Natalie Charlesworth said: “I am appealing to the man featured in this image, or anyone who recognises him, to come forward. We believe he could hold information that could be vital to our continuing enquiries.
“We also encourage people to come forward if you know anything about the incident which will help with our investigation.
“The teenager and her family continue to be supported by Merseyside Police and we are determined to establish exactly what happened.”
