SHEFFIELD Speedway have unveiled a brand new club logo ahead of the 2026 season.

It’s the first time in 18 years that the South Yorkshire side have ventured away from the old Tiger outline and the new artwork will be used on all official club team wear and merchandise from the start of the forthcoming campaign.

Co-owner Damien Bates said: “When we announced we were staying on at Sheffield, we said we were looking at 2026 as a new chapter and a fresh start.

“We’ve been looking at various things behind the scenes and we’re in a position to start announcing some of those now.

“The first of which is a new club logo – the old Tiger has been used by Sheffield for nearly two decades and we wanted to change it whilst keeping a key part of our identity.

“It’s got that retro feel about it, which I know the long-standing Sheffield fans like, but it’s also new and fresh at the same time and it does signal the start of the next chapter for the club – which hopefully gets off to a successful start in 2026.”
