Victoria Beckham was supported by her family on a day out in Paris today after receiving a prestigious accolade by the French Ministry of Culture.
Posh Spice opted to wear a sophisticated blue suit as she was spotted leaving Hotel La Réserve in the French capital, while husband David carried an oversized Hermes tote bag. Harper wrapped up in a blue fur coat, while Cruz carried a large orange tote bag from his mum Victoria’s brand as he walked with girlfriend Jackie Apostel.

Victoria was named a Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters on Monday night. Victoria posted an emotional tribute to her family and called husband David her “everything”. Lady Victoria recognised all her children in her address at the event in Paris – without naming them specifically. She was invited to give a speech after being praised for being “a true role model” over several decades.

Journalist Polly Barton sat down to talk about the actress’s marriage just six months after she tied the knot in 2022. Following Brooklyn’s statement and the feud subsequently blowing up, Polly has lifted the lid on her chat with Nicola.

She recalled: “I was struck by Nicola’s borderline inability to speak either David or Victoria’s names. The ‘she, Victoria, uh’ in the above quote, was as direct as it got, otherwise, it was just ‘Brooklyn’s mom’ or ‘dad.'”
In a new op-ed for Grazia, Polly recalled the conversation she had with Nicola. She remembers Nicola saying: “The truth is that I was in a text chain with my mom, Victoria and Leslie, who’s been my stylist for 10 years.
“We all were on this tech chain together, and I was so excited to start the design process. Um, and then Victoria, um, was like… Oh! And this was in the middle of me filming Lola James!”
She added: “So I was very busy. And then she, Victoria, uh, was very busy, and then we started this text chain, and a few days went by, and I didn’t hear anything, then I think Victoria thought since I was on set, maybe she didn’t want to upset me, so she called my mom and said that she couldn’t make the dress. She said that her, um, atelier couldn’t make the dress in time.”
The dress was the subject of the fall out between Brooklyn and his parents. In his lengthy statement, he alleged: “My parents have been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn’t stopped.

“My mum cancelled making Nicola’s dress in the eleventh hour despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress. Weeks before our big day, my parents repeatedly pressured and attempted to bribe me into signing away the rights to my name, which would have affected me, my wife, and our future children.”
He also claimed that his mum Victoria “hijacked” his first dance and danced on him “inappropriately”.
“My mum hijacked my first dance with my wife, which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song. In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead. She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life,” he explained.
