Determined Fenerbahce will reportedly test Rangers’ resolve again after seeing their opening £13million offer for Youssef Chermiti being turfed out.
It comes after a manic 24 hours where the Ibrox side rebuffed a £23million double bid for the striker and a loan offer with an obligation to buy from Monaco for Djeidi Gassama.
And in-form defender Emmanuel Fernandez is being watched by Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund.
The 23-year-old – signed for £3.5million from Peterborough in the summer – is on the radar of the Bundesliga giants with any offer set to blow the fee they paid out the water.
Record Sport understands the Ibrox side are desperate to keep their in-demand stars as they aim to outlast both Hearts and Celtic in the race for Premiership title glory.
Barry Fry revealed last week he reckons Fernandez will make Rangers a hefty profit when he does leave, although Posh are due a hefty sell-on fee.
A live broadcast on Turkish TV was stopped late on Tuesday tonight, during a live match broadcast, to reveal Fener will be back for the 23-year-old striker who has become a key man under Danny Rohl.
Chermiti joined Rangers for £8million-plus add-ons from Everton and while his general performances have improved, he has only scored four goals in 25 appearances across all competitions.
But Rangers’ stance is crystal clear, they do not want to sell their best players during this window, however, Fenerbahce appear keen to push it all the way.

There is also interest in miscast winger Oliver Antman who has been reduced to a bit-part role during an injury-ravaged stay in Glasgow since joining from Go Ahead Eagles in a £3.5m deal.
But his tribulations at Rangers haven’t dented his reputation in the Netherlands and now Feyenoord are credited with an interest amid as they plan for life after Hadj Moussa.
Meanwhile, Joe Rothwell is expected to depart before the window closes and Danilo is the subject of a £2m bid from Pafos as his time at Ibrox nears the end.
Rangers are also on the hunt for arrivals but have met resistance in their pursuit of Hansa Rostock striker Ryan Naderi.
