A 22-year-old man has been charged by police investigating the west Belfast UDA.
The man was charged with a number of drug offences and possession of a gun and ammunition – and is expected to appear in court next month.
It follows an investigation by the PSNI’s Paramilitary Crime Task Force
“The 22-year-old is charged with a number of offences, including possession and possession with intent to supply Class A, B and C controlled drugs, possessing a firearm and ammunition in suspicious circumstances and possessing prohibited ammunition,” said a PSNI spokesperson.

“As is usual procedure, the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.”
