(Del) Bass guitarist extraordinaire, Del Atiko, unexpectedly passed away on 11th April 2025. He was well known all around Cardiff, especially by motorists in Roath, as their former squeegie car window cleaner, and of the TV documentary ‘Squeegies’ fame. A service celebrating Del’s life will be held at Thornhill Cemetery & Cardiff Crematorium, Wenallt Chapel, on Thursday 1st May 2025, 4.30pm. All welcome.

Pam peacefully passed away on the 9th April 2025 with her closest family with her. Pam lived a wonderful life and will now be at peace with her Husband Don. Suddenly on 7th April after a short illness Graham passed away at his daughter’s residence. Husband of Joan and father to Annette Ian Christine and Lisa. A loving grandfather, great grandfather and great great grandfather. Funeral to take place on Friday 2nd May at 1.30 at Wenallt Chapel Thornhill. It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Andre Dumont-Hopkins, beloved son, brother, uncle, and nephew, who left us unexpectedly on March 7, 2025, at the age of 55. Born on May 3rd, 1969, Andre was a cherished member of his family and community. His warm heart, generous spirit, and sense of humour brought joy to those who knew him. Andre’s deep love for his family was evident in everything he did. As a son, he was a source of pride and unwavering support. As a brother, he was a steadfast companion and protector. His nieces and nephews will forever remember him for his playful nature and the love he showed them. Throughout his life, Andre formed strong and lasting bonds with his family and friends. His kind, easy-going personality made him a friend to all who met him, and his loss leaves an irreplaceable void in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. Though Andre’s time with us was far too short, his memory will live on through the stories and laughter he left behind. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Andre is survived by his brothers, nieces, nephew, uncles, aunts, cousins and many friends who will carry his memory forward with love. Patricia passed away peacefully aged 65 at Glan Clwyd Hospital on 12th April 2025 surrounded by people who loved her. Following complications after a stroke she was taken too soon from her devoted husband Neil, her adoring children Douglas, Daniel, Lucy and all her grandchildren. Many from North Wales Police will remember Patricia from Prestatyn and the PNC bureau in St Asaph after dedicating 46 years of service, where she made many lifelong friends and cherished these friendships. She was a strong individual, loving and with a courageous and beautiful soul. Her loss will be deeply felt by all who knew her. There will be a service at St Asaph Crematorium on Friday 9th May 2025 at 3.00pm, all who knew her and wish to say goodbye are welcome to attend. This will be followed by a private family reception. Professor Eleri Jones, passed away peacefully on 25th March 2025 at Heath Hospital Cardiff after a short illness, with son Geraint and niece Anna lovingly by her side.
