Michael O’Neill says he relishes the chance to lead up-and-coming Northern Ireland squad

Michael O’Neill has revealed that he would be open to staying on as Northern Ireland manager beyond his current Irish FA contract insisting this is the most satisfying job he has had in his career.

Appointed for a second time in December 2022, O’Neill, having previously inspired the country to Euro 2016 in his first spell, was given a long-term deal by the IFA and handed the chance to take Northern Ireland to Euro 2024, the 2026 World Cup and Euro 2028.
