Lily Allen has been confirmed as the final headliner for Boardmasters 2026, revealed through a dramatic sand‑art installation etched into the Cornish coastline.

The pop icon joins previously announced headliners Fatboy Slim and Kasabian at the five‑day festival, which returns to Watergate Bay and Fistral Beach from 5–9 August. Organisers say the second wave announcement “deepens the sound, sharpens the contrasts, and reinforces the spirit of discovery” at the heart of the event.

Allen arrives in Cornwall fresh from the release of her critically acclaimed and BRIT‑nominated 2025 album West End Girl, which she will perform in full during her headline set. The singer, described by organisers as “one of the UK’s most culturally defining pop artists”, was recently nominated for Artist of the Year, Album of the Year and Best Pop Act at the 2026 BRIT Awards.

The expanded 2026 line‑up also brings a wide mix of genres and emerging talent to the coast. Joy Crookes returns following the success of her second album Juniper, while BRITs Critics’ Choice winner Jacob Alon is set to showcase material from their acclaimed 2025 record In Limerence. Folk‑pop favourites Lucy Spraggan and Beans on Toast also join the bill.

On the electronic side, globally renowned DJ collective Fleetmac Wood will transform the cliffs into an open‑air dancefloor, while artists including Hamdi, Sicaria, Lens and Gotham B2B Deekz bring late‑night bass and club energy. Cornwall’s own Charlie Boon returns for a special back‑to‑back with BBC Radio 1’s Sarah Story.

New‑generation pop and alternative acts such as Rose Gray, Etta Marcus, Charlotte Plank, Holysseus Fly and Chloe Qisha further strengthen the festival’s commitment to spotlighting rising talent.

Beyond the music, Boardmasters continues to celebrate its deep roots in surf culture. Fistral Beach will once again host the Boardmasters Open, featuring WSL Men’s and Women’s Pro competitions and the Junior Open. Festival‑goers can expect a broad programme of surf lessons, yoga, sound baths, wellness spa sessions and fitness activities ranging from run clubs to Muscle Beach workouts.

Organisers say further wellbeing, art and cultural programming will be announced soon, adding creative workshops, installations and a variety of interactive experiences across the site.

Tickets are now on sale and moving quickly, with final‑tier weekend passes starting from £279 plus fees. Flexible payment plans are available from £40 per month.

Boardmasters 2026 day tickets are expected to go on sale at the end of February.
