It was first thought a Definitive Edition of the game would bring the looter shooter natively to PS5, following a recent backwards compatibility enhancement. It’s possible a true PS5 version of The Division will still release as part of this update, but it remains to be seen whether it’ll actually look and run better. For now, at least, this appears to just be another complete edition of the title.
When played on a PS5, The Division now runs at 60 frames-per-second as a result of last month’s patch. Have you gone back to the game as a result of that update? Let us know in the comments below.
