The White Lotus Season 4 has officially added three new actors to its cast.
HBO’s The White Lotus is a satirical comedy anthology show created by Mike White. The first season, which was set in Hawaii, premiered in 2021, while Season 2 took viewers to Sicily in 2022. The most recent season, which was set in Thailand, premiered in 2025.
Not too much is known about The White Lotus Season 4 in terms of plot at this point, though it has been revealed that the next outing will be set in France. Steve Coogan, Caleb Jonte Edwards, Alexander Ludwig, and AJ Michalk are all attached to star.
Who has been confirmed for the White Lotus Season 4 cast?
Per Variety, it has now been confirmed that Helena Bonham Carter, Chris Messina, and Marissa Long have joined the cast of The White Lotus Season 4. It was previously reported that Bonham Carter and Messina were being considered for the show, with this new announcement then making their casting official.
Bonham Carter is known for playing Bellatrix Lestrange in the Harry Potter franchise and for collaborating with Tim Burton on movies such as 2003’s Big Fish, 2005’s Corpse Bride, 2005’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, 2007’s Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, 2010’s Alice in Wonderland, and 2012’s Dark Shadows. She’s received two Academy Award nominations, one for 1997’s The Wings of the Dove and the other for 2010’s The King’s Speech.
Messina played Danny Castellano in The Mindy Project and Ted Farewell in HBO’s Six Feet Under, among other TV roles. His filmography includes 2009’s Julie & Julia, 2010’s Devil, 2012’s Argo, 2020’s Birds of Prey, 2024’s Juror #2, and more.
Long will make her television debut in The White Lotus Season 4. An HBO Max premiere date has not yet been announced.
