Emmerdale fans have made their feelings known after Lisa Riley reunited with former co-star Adele Silva.

Lisa, who plays Mandy Dingle on the ITV soap, took to social media to share a selfie with Kelly Windsor legend Adele as they enjoyed a catch-up together.

‘Gorgeous lunch date and catch up with my dearest friend @silvaliningx, she wrote on Instagram, ‘Friends that make my life richer for all the right reasons.’

Chas Dingle legend Lucy Pargeter commented, writing: ‘Double trouble’.

Fans were also quick to add their thoughts and it seems they were all in agreement about one thing – they want Kelly Windsor back in the Dales.

‘we need @silvaliningx back as Kelly,’ wrote Instagram user Brendon_draper1, while annettemontgomery392 added ‘would love to see Adele @silvaliningx back in Emmerdale.’

clairebeargrylls1 was in agreement, writing that Kelly was ‘such a fab character’ while dbella1 urged Emmerdale to ‘Bring Kelly back’.

Lisa addressed the possibility of a Kelly return in 2023 when asked who she would like to see back in the eponymous village.

‘‘I want Kelly Windsor back. I think it would work because she has a link to Jimmy (Nick Miles),’ she told Inside Soap.

‘She was Mandy’s best friend, and me and Adele Silva are still really close. I think she’s a great actress and there’s a lot of untold stories there.

‘For example, what did Kelly and Mandy get up to when I wasn’t in the show for all those years?’

Adele portrayed Kelly across various stints, initially appearing between 1993 and 2000, and then again between 2005 and 2007.

Her final appearance to date came in 2011, when she left the village to start a new life with Elliott, who later returned to live with Jimmy and Nicola.
