The force have said that have noticed a increase in residential burglaries in Morley and Drighlington – and there’s one particular area that is worst affected.
However, police have reassured residents that they have a dedicated late team on the ground to tackle the issue.
They revealed that the Croft House area is particularly target for these crimes.
‘We are aware of an increase in residential burglaries’
In a statement, the force said: “We are aware of an increase in residential burglaries in Morley and Drighlington, particularly in the Croft House area.
“We have been providing re-assurance, smart water and giving crime prevention advice during the day.
“Our late team is out on the ground continuing this work.
“The investigations are ongoing.
“Please report any suspicious activity to us via the usual channels.
