A man was left seriously injured after he was attacked in Birmingham city centre.
West Midlands Police and paramedics were called after a fight broke out on Alcester Street around 2pm on Friday (Jan 30).
They found a man, said to be in his 20s, who had sustained a head wound.

The victim was treated at the scene before he was taken to hospital.
Officers arrested a 35-year-old man on suspicion of assault and he remains in custody.

The incident happened outside a hotel.
Video taken from the scene showed the road blocked off and police dogs unit.
WMP said: “We have made an arrest after reports of a fight on Alcester Street, Birmingham at around 2pm.
“A man in his 20s suffered a head injury, which is not believed to be life changing, but was taken to hospital for treatment.
“A 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault.
“He remains in custody for questioning.”
A WMAS spokeswoman said: “We were called to reports of an assault on Moseley Street in Birmingham just after 2pm and sent an ambulance to the scene.
“On arrival, crews found a man who they treated for serious injuries and conveyed to hospital.”
