A teenage boy has tragically died. Police confirmed the boy died suddenly at a property in Penarth on Thursday.
Officers from South Wales Police closed Pill Street in the Cogan area of Penarth on Thursday evening. It was today confirmed that emergency services had been called to the sudden death of a teenage boy at a property in the area. His death is not being treated as suspicious.
A spokesman for South Wales Police said: “South Wales Police can confirm the sudden death of a teenager at a property in Cogan yesterday afternoon (Thursday, January 29).
“The family has requested privacy at this difficult time.
“There are no suspicious circumstances, and an investigation is on-going on behalf of HM Coroner.”
