There’s significant disruption to York train travellers this morning (Saturday, 31 January).
Due to the emergency services dealing with an incident between York and Leeds all lines are blocked.
TransPennine Express said shortly after 9am: “The emergency services are dealing with an incident in the Church Fenton area. all lines are currently blocked.
“Train services running through these stations may be cancelled or delayed by up to 60 minutes.
“Disruption is expected until 11am.
“We are currently looking into options to keep you on the move. If your train is cancelled or delayed, you may wish to postpone your journey until trains are running again or until alternative travel options are available.”
