The King’s ‘draconian’ action against disgraced Andrew has been ‘vindicated’ amid the latest Epstein files release, according to an expert. Pictures which appear to show the former Duke of York crouched over an unidentified woman are featured in the latest disclosure of files linked to the billionaire paedophile.

The images are among more than three million documents published by the US Department of Justice relating to Epstein. Elsewhere in the document dump, screenshots and scans appear to show the former prince exchanged emails with the financier about a “beautiful” Russian woman and invited him to Buckingham Palace after he pleaded guilty to soliciting a minor for prostitution.

Three months ago, Andrew was stripped of all of his remaining royal titles for “serious lapses of judgement” by the King, including his princely title, following revelations he had not ceased contact with Epstein when he claimed he had. He has consistently denied any wrongdoing.

And given the latest release of documents relating to Epstein, which appear to feature Andrew, royal expert Jennie Bond believes the King is vindicated in the action he took last October.

Reacting to the new photos and other revelations, the former BBC royal corresponent told Sky News: “To me it seems more the seediness, the absolute unsavoury nature of Andrew’s friendship with Epstein and what we’ve learned is that Andrew quite definitely had lied about how long he maintained his friendship with Epstein.

“I think all in all what it does is vindicate Charles in the action he took at the end of last year in stripping Andrew of his titles, his right to be called a prince and evicting him from his home.”

Andrew, who was pictured today out riding in Windsor, is believed to be soon moving out of his Royal Lodge mansion in order to move to a much smaller property on the King’s private Sandringham estate after being banished. But once the move is complete, Jennie doesn’t believe the royals will take any more action against the former prince.

She explained: “I’m not sure what else they can do. I don’t think we can demand that they do more than they have. It was drastic, draconian action which shocked us all at the end of last year.

“Andrew is shortly going to be banished if you like from Windsor and be provided with a home at Sandringham. You could say yes, turf him out of that, don’t look after him all.

“But you have to remember, this is a monarchy, clearly, and a Royal Family. But it is a family and Andrew is Charles’ brother and Charles is not unfeeling and I think he does feel a sense of responisbility for his physical wellbeing and for his mental wellbeing. So I don’t think we can expect the palace to do any more than they have already done.”
