Come transfer deadline day, football fans on social media keep a keen eye on flight trackers. And it seems to have paid off for Liverpool supporters on the look out for Jeremy Jacquet.
Aerowest flight AWH27B departed from Nantes Airport at 9.47am (CET) and touched down at Manchester Airport at 10:04am where, assumedly, the Reds were waiting to whisk the France Under-21 international away for his medical.
Liverpool and Rennes have negotiated a pre-agreement worth £55million plus £5m in add-ons for the 20-year-old centre-back.

Chelsea had expressed interest in the youngster, too, having held discussions with Rennes last month, but Jacquet was impressed by the long-term project proposed by Liverpool, according to French reports, and opted to head north.
The deal would see Jacquet remain in France for the rest of the season as sixth-placed Rennes fight for European places, before joining the Premier League champions in the summer.
Liverpool fans spotted the Cessna Citation XLS+ private jet on flightradar24 – the deadline day app of choice, which has previously caught the travel plans of the likes of Jurgen Klopp, Dominik Szoboszlai and Darwin Nunez.
An eagled-eyed X user with the profile name Nicholas Bieber posted a snap of the flight tracker at 8.54AM alleging that Jacquet was aboard the early morning flight heading for his medical on Monday (February 2).
Jacquet has started 18 of 20 league games for Rennes this season while missing the other two through suspension. He made his breakthrough last term after two spells on loan at Clermont Foot.
Liverpool have been expected to be in the market for centre-backs at the end of the season. As it stands, Ibrahima Konate is due to leave on a free transfer with no resolution as yet over talks regarding a new contract, while captain Virgil van Dijk turns 35 in July and Joe Gomez has suffered fitness issues during the last 18 months.
They had eyed taking over Lutsharel Geertruida’s season-long loan at Sunderland from RB Leipzig as a short-term solution to injury concerns at right-back and centre-back, only for Sunderland to be unable to proceed with the deal due to a lack of cover.
