People are being urged to look out for a missing pensioner as concerns grow for his welfare. Police say Azim was last seen in Stockport on Tuesday (February 3).

The 75-year-old was seen on Bramhall Moor Lane, in Hazel Grove, at 3.27pm. Greater Manchester Police says Azim is still missing this morning (Wednesday).

Azim has no access to a phone and ‘may be confused’, according to GMP. A force spokesperson added: “Officers are becoming increasingly concerned about Azim and want to make sure he is safe and well.”

He is described as Asian, 5ft 7ins tall and with short grey/black hair. Azim was last seen wearing a black coat, with black trousers and black glasses. A photo of Azim was shared on social media alongside an appeal for help finding him.

Anyone who sees Azim or has information on his whereabouts is urged to call GMP on 0161 856 9905, quoting log number 2145 of February 3, 2026. In an emergency situation, dial 999.
