Heaven 17 will be taking to the stage of the Robin on May 28 for a night of nostalgia and fun as Glenn Gregory and Martyn Ware perform hits such as “Temptation” and “Let Me Go”, as well as other hits from more than 40 years of performing.
The band formed in Sheffield in 1980 and became a defining force in the new wave and synth pop movements, with their innovative use of synthesisers and socially conscious lyrics setting them apart from the rest, earning them a place in music history.
A spokesman for The Robin said: “We are thrilled to announce that iconic synth pop pioneers Heaven 17 will be performing at The Robin on Thursday, May 28.
