PBKS vs LSG Live Score, IPL 2025: Punjab Kings (PBKS) continued their winning momentum with a dominant performance, defeating Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) by 37 runs in Dharamsala. This victory propelled PBKS to the second spot on the points table with 15 points from 11 matches, while LSG remained in seventh place after their sixth loss of the season. Notably, this was PBKS’ first win at this venue since IPL 2023.

Earlier, after LSG elected to field, Punjab Kings posted a formidable 236/5 in their 20 overs, built on a strong collective batting effort highlighted by Prabhsimran Singh’s brilliant 91 off 48 balls. Despite an early setback with Priyansh Arya’s dismissal in the first over to Akash Singh (2/30 on his LSG debut with a fine new-ball spell), PBKS recovered strongly. Promoted to number three, Josh Inglis contributed a quick 30 before becoming Akash’s second victim.

Prabhsimran Singh continued his excellent form, notching his third consecutive half-century and striking several powerful shots. He forged a crucial 78-run partnership for the third wicket with captain Shreyas Iyer, who contributed a solid 45 but missed out on his third consecutive fifty at this venue in the T20 format. Later in the innings, Nehal Wadhera, Shashank Singh, and Marcus Stoinis provided valuable cameos, capitalizing on LSG’s underwhelming bowling attack.

Apart from Akash Singh, LSG’s bowling lacked impact. Digvesh Singh Rathi took two wickets but conceded 46 runs, while Prince Yadav claimed 1/43. Avesh Khan and Mayank Yadav proved expensive, giving away a combined 117 runs in their eight overs.

In response, Arshdeep Singh’s devastating three-wicket opening spell dismantled LSG’s top order. He dismissed Mitchell Marsh, Aiden Markram, and Nicholas Pooran in quick succession, significantly hindering the visitors’ chase. Rishabh Pant began cautiously but then played a rash shot, getting out before David Miller’s cheap dismissal left LSG struggling at 73/5 around the halfway mark.

Ayush Badoni (74 off 40) and Abdul Samad (45 off 24) mounted a spirited fightback, putting together an 81-run partnership for the sixth wicket to avoid a heavy defeat. While the two youngsters batted brilliantly, their efforts weren’t enough to trouble the hosts. Marco Jansen broke the partnership, and Badoni continued his aggressive innings before Yuzvendra Chahal dismissed him in the final over. Avesh Khan managed to hit some late boundaries, but it was too little too late for LSG.
