Big Bill Mata had no hesitation in reaching for a pen when Bristol Bears offered him a new contract.

The Fiji No.8, who joined the Bears last season from Edinburgh, has become a fan favourite at Ashton Gate with his charging runs and thumping tackles.
The 34-year-old has been a constant in an injury-ravaged campaign for Bristol, appearing in all bar one of their 10 Premiership matches and three of their four Champions Cup clashes.
