Telefonica Germany leads EU funding application for AI mobile network development
Telefonica Germany is taking the lead of a consortium applying for funding to develop sovereign AI infrastructure for the mobile network. The project, called Sovereign Platform for Intelligent Network Evolution (SPINE), aims to develop an AI infrastructure supporting mobile networks. With SPINE the network operator and its partners will work on mobile networks throughout their entire lifecycle, from analysing future requirements, planning and orchestration, and operational management. This is based on the c
