The NI Science Festival is taking place across Northern Ireland from 11-22 February with a vibrant programme of events that will be held at venues across the country – including workshops, tours, talks and interactive activities for people of all ages.

Titanic Belfast

W5 in Belfast brings learning to life with interactive zones, creative play areas and exhibits designed to spark young imaginations and then head over to Titanic Belfast for a journey back in time to experience the place where the Titanic was designed, built, and launched.

Explore the many museums on our doorstep like the Ulster Museum , where family-friendly exhibitions make learning fun, or bring history to life at Carrickfergus Castle with a self-guided or pre-booked guided tour, and you may even spot some characters from the Castle’s past during the visit.

And for the older kids, a shopping adventure at Victoria Square or CastleCourt is always a great day out, especially when you can make a stop at one of Belfast’s family-friendly restaurants like Fish City, Fratelli or Little Wing Pizzeria.
