The clay court season is building towards the French Open, which gets underway in Paris later this month.
The French Open continues the 2025 Grand Slam season, with Jannik Sinner and Madison Keys having won the Australian Open titles.
ATP number one Sinner accepted a three-month ban after lifting the trophy in Melbourne, with his comeback now imminent.
Sinner has maintained his spot atop the world rankings, with the likes of Alexander Zverev and Carlos Alcaraz failing to capitalise on his absence.
The Italian is expected to return on home soil at the Rome Masters before returning to Grand Slam action at the French Open.

A losing finalist at last year’s French Open and this year’s Australian Open, Zverev has now been involved in a debate alongside rising stars Joao Fonseca and Jakub Mensik.
Discussing who is most likely to win a major among the trio, former world number one Tracy Austin said on the Tennis Channel Live Podcast: “I am going to go with Zverev because he has gotten there a couple of times. He is closer to coming across those seven matches and winning.
“Fonseca could win five or six, but he is so far away from it right now if I had to bet my life on it, I would go with Zverev. And Mensik.”

As Austin mentioned, Zverev has come close to getting over the line on the biggest stage in men’s tennis.
Heartbreakingly for the German, however, he has lost all three of his career Grand Slam final appearances.
Along with the defeats to Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz in Australia and France respectively, Zverev lost the 2020 US Open final to Dominic thiem.
But former world number one Jim Courier thinks that trend will end soon, saying of Zverev, Fonseca and Mensik: “I think all of them are going to win one.

“I do [think Zverev will win one]. He has the scar tissue the others don’t have but I think he will keep putting himself in position.
“But if you had to tell me who would end up winning the most, I would pick Fonseca. For me, Fonseca looks like he is going to be able to do well.”
