
A MAJOR chain has announced their shop will be closing at a Glasgow shopping centre.
Waterstones told punters they will be closing down their store at Silverburn.

The popular bookshop will be closing for the last time later this month.
Staff will close up shop on February 22 for the last time.
But they revealed they are set to be back and promised to be “bigger and better” than ever.
A new Waterstones store will open inside the centre in the summer.

They revealed the update on their Instagram page.
A post read: “We will be closing this branch on Sunday February 22.
“Our new shop in Silverburn will be opening in the summer.
“In the meantime your nearest branches of Waterstones will be in Newton Mearns, Braehead, Argyle Street and Byres Road.
“We look forward to welcoming you to our new bookshop this summer, and thank you for all the support since opening at Silverburn.”
Book lovers were sad to see the shop go but were still excited to see them back when they open their new home.
One said: “I will miss the place, my wee quiet chill spot. Looking forward to seeing the new store.”
Another replied: “Can’t wait to see it.”
While a third added: “I’ll miss you. Look forward to seeing the new shop though!”
A fourth said: “Don’t leave us too long…hurry back!”
