DAVID Beckham has been spotted in Scotland days after his lively birthday weekend.

The football legend shared a heartfelt message to his eldest son Brooklyn after he failed to attend his dad’s star-studded 50th birthday celebrations.

The former England captain posted a photo from a fishing trip north of the border with his younger sons, Romeo and Cruz.

It shows the trio standing by a lakeside, all smiles – with David telling his followers he planned the birthday trip months gao.

He tagged Romeo and Cruz over the top photo, and David added: “You were missed Brooklyn”.

Brooklyn, 26, and his wife Nicola Peltz, 30, skipped all three of the former England captain’s celebrations.

TMZ claimed Brooklyn would only be at his dad’s birthday dinner if his ex-girlfriend Kim Turnbull, who is now dating Romeo, was uninvited.

Friends of the celebrity chef claimed his request was turned down.

It comes as The Sun revealed Brooklyn and Nicola have pulled out of tonight’s Met Gala following the fallout with his family.

They were on course to go to his dad’s party and so had cancelled The Met.

A source explained: “They cancelled plans to attend the Met because they really intended to be at David’s party on Saturday.

“But Brooklyn is really upset that blame for the rift has been levelled at Nicola.

“She has never told him what to do and has been nothing but supportive — she’s a loyal wife.”

A friend also revealed Brooklyn was told he had to come to one of the formal birthday events or he wouldn’t see his dad.

Pals insist he DID text dad David to wish him a happy birthday and tried to organise a private meet-up but was rebuffed.

The family first gathered at an intimate evening last Wednesday at their £10million Cotswolds mansion.

It was attended by close family members including Brooklyn’s mum Victoria, 51, his brother Romeo, 22, as well as his youngest brother Cruz, 20, and girlfriend Jackie Apostel, 29.

A source close to the Beckhams told The Sun the fall out had nothing to do with Brooklyn and Romeo, and that Kim, 24, had not attended the dinner last Wednesday either, as she had work commitments.

Brooklyn had a short romance with Kim in 2016, long before meeting his wife Nicola Peltz, 30.

But he is said to have questioned her “motives” for now dating his brother.

Meanwhile, Romeo appears smitten with Kim.

On Sunday he shared a photo of them together on Instagram with the caption: “My,” followed by world and infinity emojis.

A source close to the eldest Beckham child said: “Brooklyn flew to London with the sole intention of seeing his family and celebrating his dad’s birthday.

“He suggested going for breakfast or a coffee but was told the only chance to see the family would be at one of their lavish parties which Kim would be at – so he refused.

“As far as he sees it, his parents have chosen Romeo and his new girlfriend over him.”

A spokesperson for Brooklyn and Nicola was unavailable for comment.
