The body of a man has been discovered near the River Clyde. Emergency crews rushed to the Yoker Ferry Road area of Glasgow this morning.
An alarm was raised at around 10.30am near to the site of the former Yoker-Renfrew ferry after a man’s body was discovered. Although details regarding the incident are not yet known, the force has confirmed that the unidentified man’s next of kin have been informed.
Police have launched a probe and insist enquiries into the full details of what happened are ongoing at this time.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.30am on Saturday, 21 February, 2026, the body of a man was discovered in the Yoker Ferry Road area of Glasgow. Next of kin is aware.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
