It has been announced that major US Rock band, Foo Fighters, will be taking to the stage this week in Manchester.
In a shock announcement, Manchester music venue O2 Ritz posted on social media that the Foo Fighters will be performing Friday this week (27 February).

Foo Fighters’ 15-Grammy Award-winning catalogue includes The Colour and the Shape, There Is Nothing Left To Lose’, One By One, In Your Honor, Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace, Wasting Light, Sonic Highways, Concrete and Gold, Medicine at Midnight and 2023’s But Here We Are.
The band released new song ‘Your Favourite Toy’ earlier this week, with the album of the same name set to drop April 24.
The intimate gig will be on a much smaller scale than that of the Anfield show and gives fans the opportunity to see them in the Manchester venue, with the venue noting they have limited space.
The venue took to social media to share what fans needed to know before purchasing tickets. Ticket sales are available in person only and begin 12pm today (22 February) at O2 Ritz, Whitworth Street in Manchester.
The venue urged fans to be courteous of neighbouring businesses and the community. They noted this is a late show, so all customers attending must be 18+.
Ticket prices are set at £99.00 including all fees and fans cannot pay with cash, it has to be with contactless, credit cards and debit cards only.
This is a first come first served basis and there is a two ticket per person limit and fans will no doubt be racing to the venue to get a ticket.
For those with any accessible requirements, the venue urged fans to notify staff at the time of purchase or to contact the venue box office directly.
