Ticketmaster has issued an update over tickets for the £20 Harry Styles gig in Manchester, with some orders cancelled and refunded.
The Watermelon Sugar hitmaker, from Cheshire, previously announced he would be performing at the Co-op Live arena on March 6 to play the new tracks from his highly anticipated upcoming album Kiss All The Time, Disco Occasionally – with tickets priced at £20.
Due to massive demand for the one-off special Manchester show, fans were required to request a ticket in advance with a two-day registration period beginning on Friday (February 7). Fans were then told by midnight on February 10 whether they had been successful in getting tickets. There was an allocation of two per person.

But many recently shared their fury after tickets for the one-night-only show appeared on resale sites for hundreds of pounds more. Ticketmaster said tickets bought from other unauthorised re-sale sites are ‘fraudulent’ and that fans ‘would not get into the show’.
In an update, the ticket giant has said it is working with Harry Styles’ team to cancel and refund any orders that have violated the rules of sale. Tickets listed and bought from other sites will be cancelled.
“As all tickets are non-transferable, any tickets listed on unauthorised resale sites are void and will not get fans into the show – so we’re cancelling and refunding these. There is also a ticket limit of two per person, so any orders above that are being cancelled and refunded.
“If you’re still looking for tickets, please only buy via Ticketmaster as we cannot protect you on other sites. This is a high-demand show, so resale tickets will be limited.”
Ticketmaster said they aim to reissue the tickets directly to fans. However there will not be a new ‘request’ option as there was in the original sale, but select numbers of fans whose original bids were not fulfilled will be directly contacted by email.
