A Good Morning Britain presenter has confirmed their departure from the show after 10 years.

Juliet Dunlop, who is a broadcast journalist which previously appeared on the BBC and STV News, confirmed her exit from the morning show in a LinkedIn post late last year.

She has appeared on numerous programmes but she is best known for her work on Good Morning Britain.

Juliet said online: “After a decade on the breakfast beat, my time at Good Morning Britain is drawing to a close.

“It has been such a privilege to have had access to so many interesting people and places, and to have worked with such skilled and talented colleagues.

“Over the years, I’ve been buffeted by wind, rain and snow, filmed with penguins, pandas and politicians – it has certainly never been dull! – but restructuring at ITV means change is coming.

“I’ll be setting an extra early alarm clock till the end of the year but am looking forward to new opportunities in 2026. Thank you again to those who have been so generous with their time.”

Following her final shift in December, Juliet shared another update, the Mirror reported.

In a video she said: “Well, that’s it from me, my last report for Good Morning Britain. It’s been such a privilege working with so many hard-working, talented people over the last ten years.

“I wish all my colleagues the very best of luck. For me, a new year and time to seek out something new, but thank you to all of the people who have given up so much of their time to talk to me over the last wee while. It’s goodbye for now.”

Fans of the show shared their support for the journalist with comments shared online.

One person said: “All the very best Juliet. Professional and thorough in your journalism, whether wind, rain, hail, snow or sun!!!”

Another added: “Good luck. 10 years! Where did the time go? Good luck with the next chapter,” while a third said: “What an adventure you’ve had! Enjoy a few lie ins, and best of luck with the next role.”

While Juliet announced her departure at the end of last year, many fans are only discovering the “sad news” now.

During today’s (February 24) show, one person said: “#GMB Disappointed to learn that the excellent reporter @julietdunlop has left @GMB, after ‘company restructuring.’

“The ultimate professional, turning out in whatever weather Scotland could throw at her. On behalf of many, I wish her every success in the next stage of her career.” Another added: “Aw sad news, loved Juliet. Wish her all the best.”
