A body has been discovered outside a property in Birmingham.
The discovery was made just after 2pm today, Tuesday, February 24, on Yardley Wood Road, Billesley, sparking a huge police operation.
The death was being treated as ‘unexplained’ and investigations were underway.

The busy route was cordoned off near the shops and doctor surgery. Forensics officers in white suits were seen working at the scene

West Midlands Police said: “We’re investigating after the body of a man was found outside an address on Yardley Wood Road, Birmingham, shortly after 2pm.
“The man’s death is currently being treated as unexplained and we are carrying out further enquiries.”
West Midlands Ambulance Service said it was aware of an incident in this area but were not asked to attend.
Pedestrians were not being allowed without an escort from officers.
