Bears centurion Max Lahiff has penned a new deal with the club, extending his stay with Bristol Bears into an eighth season.
The experienced prop, who can operate on both sides of the scrum, has made 122 appearances for the club since arriving in 2019 and was recently called into Steve Borthwick’s England training squad ahead of the Six Nations clash with Wales at Twickenham.

A fan favourite in Bear Country and across the Gallagher PREM, Lahiff has made more than 150 appearances in the competition.
Director of Rugby PatLam said: “Max has delivered outstanding rugby for us over the past eight years and fully deserves his status as a Bears centurion.
“His versatility at both tighthead and loosehead is an enormous asset, particularly within a small squad, and his experience plays a vital role in the development of our younger front-row players.
“What I love most about Max is his growth mindset – both as a player and as a person. The depth of his understanding of the game, the way he approaches it, and the evolution of his skill set are markedly different from when he first arrived eight years ago.
