Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Coronation Street’s Lauren Bolton will clash with two close friends over her current blackmail ordeal.
Lauren recently found herself in trouble after she and Betsy Swain stole Tracy McDonald’s florist van. Lauren crashed the vehicle, but Betsy felt guilty for involving her in the revenge plan and took the blame for the incident.
However, Lauren isn’t out of the woods as a mysterious individual has been sending her text messages threatening to expose the truth about what happened.
After confiding in Bobby, Lauren tried to ignore the threats, but the blackmailer sent a photo of her behind the wheel of the car.
In upcoming episodes, Lauren attempts to distract herself by finding a new flat, but is stunned by the prices of the properties.
She quickly resolves to find a job, with Aadi offering to put in a good word for her at Freshco.

Unfortunately, Lauren receives another text from the blackmailer who demands £200 in exchange for not sending the incriminating photo to the police.
Lauren feels terrified and accepts £500 from Bobby to pay off the mystery person, hoping to put a stop to their messages.
However, Lauren later confesses to Bobby that she instead used the money to put down a deposit on a flat.
Bobby’s furious and declares their friendship is over, leaving Lauren heartbroken.
