ITV Britain’s Got Talent viewers received a warning as a controversial act appeared on stage this evening (February 28), causing the judges to squirm uncomfortably in their seats.

Performance duo Baron and Vesper prompted the audience to shield their eyes and the judges to struggle watching as they employed a series of hooks inserted into various body parts to spin and fly through the air. During one moment in their routine, one performer was suspended mid-air by hooks threaded through the other’s nipples and earlobes, reports the Mirror.

Co-presenter Declan Donnelly could be heard stating: “Obviously don’t try this at home, it’s very dangerous,” whilst a warning appeared on-screen advising viewers not to replicate what they were witnessing. Even you’re shocked” panellist Alesha Dixon observed as she glanced towards KSI, who had maintained his composure until the performance intensified and nipples became involved.

As the man with the hooks inserted approached the judges’ table with his partner still suspended, Amanda fled, exclaiming: “Oh my God he’s coming, he’s coming” barely able to observe the performance. “I don’t know what to look at,” KSI remarked.

Despite the graphic content of the routine, the pair received a standing ovation from the audience. Co-presenter Ant McPartlin, observing from the side of the stage, noted: “That’s something we haven’t seen before and we’ve seen almost everything on this show.”

Offering her verdict on the performance, judge Alesha remarked: “I found it difficult to watch, and weird and brilliant,” whilst Amanda Holden commented: “It looked awful in the best way,” quickly adding: “It was horrifically brilliant.” to avoid the audience’s disapproval.

The duo received approval from both Amanda and Alesha, whilst KSI voted against them. Meanwhile, Simon held the decisive vote, deferring to the audience who responded with enthusiastic applause, securing their progression to the next round.

Viewers watching at home also found the act challenging to witness, with many left conflicted by what they had just seen. One viewer complained: “This needs to stop in the bedroom, not on TV,” whilst another stated: “That’s not talent, that’s just stupidity.

“Well I’ll not try that at home,” joked another programme viewer, as one pleaded: “MAKE IT STOP!”.

“Don’t know whether to clap or cry or to gag or to do all three?” questioned one bewildered viewer. “I feel physically sick,” wrote another. Meanwhile, one intrigued viewer enquired: “How does one discover they can do this?”.
