Police have launched an investigation after a man was found injured in a street in Keynsham.
Witnesses have told Bristol Live they saw a large number of police officers as well as the air ambulance in Keynsham on Saturday night (February 28) and there were claims that a person had been stabbed.
Police have not confirmed that anybody had suffered such an injury, but did confirm a man in his 20s had been found in the area and had been injured.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: “At 10.11pm on Saturday, February 28 we were called by the ambulance service reporting that a man had been found injured in Coronation Avenue in Keynsham.
“Officers attended and the man, who is aged in his 20s, was taken to hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
“An investigation is underway and officers have been carrying out enquiries, including CCTV reviews, in the area to establish the full circumstances of the incident.
