Where is Jazz Chisholm from?
Chisholm is from the Bahamas. That’s where he was born.
The Bahamas were a British colony, so under the WBC’s roster rules, Chisholm has a club to play for.
There aren’t a ton of well-known athletes from the Bahamas. The NBA has Buddy Hield and DeAndre Ayton. And the baseball world has Chisholm.
Chisholm’s best star power alongside him in the GB lineup will be Harry Ford, a top catching prospect traded from the Mariners to the Nationals this offseason. Ford’s family heritage traces to Great Britain itself.
