A man has appeared in court after jewellery was ‘stolen’ from an elderly Glasgow couple’s home.
Officers were called to the Govan area following reports that a man had snuck into a house and taken goods. Following extensive enquiries, officers say they ‘traced the male responsible’ and ‘recovered all goods’.
He was held in custody and was due to appear at the Glasgow Sheriff Court today (Wednesday, March 4).
Police Scotland’s Greater Glasgow division shared on social media: “After reports of a sneak in theft to an elderly couples’ home in the Govan area, whereby jewellery was taken, extensive enquiry led to officers tracing the male responsible and recovering all goods.
“The male was held in custody and will appear at Glasgow Sheriff court today.”
