Crufts is well underway, with the results for Day 3 starting to be announced.

The Scruffts competition at the biggest dog show in the world gives us a chance to see non pedigree dogs take centre stage.

Unlike the pedigree contests, the focus is on personality, health and the bond between dog and owner rather than strict breed standards.

Dogs from across the UK have qualified by making it through regional heats and have now gone head to head at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham.

Finalists compete in four classes — Most Handsome Dog, Prettiest Bitch, Golden Oldie (aged eight and over) and Good Citizen Scheme.

Then the overall Scruffts Champion is decided from the winners of those categories.

Below we bring you the results for 2026:

Scruffts Champion

The overall champion was Golden Oldie Marnie, who is nine years old.

She had a hard start to life and was rescued from a kill shelter in Romania.

Marnie had been a finalist for two years in a row – but has now claimed the crown!
