A man seen running through a popular Birmingham beauty spot sporting just a bag has led to police launching an investigation.
The man was said to be running through Sutton Park in Sutton Coldfield wearing just a backpack on Monday (March 9) when concerned park visitors raised the alarm.
The man was seen close to the Banners Gate entrance, which is off Monmouth Drive, at around 9am.

The Banners Gate entrance has one of the park’s two main children’s play areas, is near Longmoor Pool and is also close to Boldmere Golf Course.
A park user posted on Facebook and said: “Please be mindful. A white male with a black backpack has been spotted completely naked running through the park.
“Spotted at Banners Gate area, but could be anywhere.”
One person commented: “It’s a bit too cold for that nonsense, hope he gets the help he needs before he freezes to death.”
And another said: “I’d imagine he’d have his clothes in his backpack.”

West Midlands Police has confirmed it is investigating the incident.
A spokesman for the force said: “We are investigating an incident of exposure after a man was seen running naked at Sutton Park, on Monmouth Drive, shortly before 9.20am today (Monday).
“Witnesses or people with information should ring 101 quoting log number 1010 of 9 March.”
