Names have now been revealed, with the first one to open being The Alfred Wainwright at Haven’s Cumbrian site. Named after Alfred Wainwright, the British fell walker, his maps have become the standard reference work for the Lake District’s 214 fells.
The Springfield, at Haven’s Cala Gran holiday park in Blackpool, is named after Springfield House which stood on what is now the main entrance to the park in the 1960s.
Cornwall-based Riviere Sands will see its new J D Wetherspoon pub, The Bluff, retain its original name which refers to the steep bank or cliff edge where the venue is located, offering prominent views over the coastline.
And finally, guests and owners will be able to enjoy Haven’s Hopton new J D Wetherspoon pub, The White Clover named after the flower grown across the county representing good luck.
